Vince Broglio shapes and glasses all of his boards from start to finish

He started building surfboards professionally in 1983 as a glosser and polisher for 6 yrs, and then opened up his own glass shop doing all the work himself. Over the years of board building Vince has had the great fortune of talking design and theory with some great shapers. His greatest pleasure is working with his clients one-on-one and putting the very best board in their hands and under their feet.

Vince Broglio was born and raised in Northern California.

On an extended vacation to Hawaii in 1971 he fell in love with surfing, and it has to continued to be his life’s passion. Vince has surfed all over the world both as a professional and free surfer. When he was in High School he would strip down his surfboards and reshape the blank, then glass them.
