About Vince Broglio

Surfing isn't just what Vince does - it's who he is. That passion ignited in 1971 when he caught his first wave at Waikiki Beach at 11 years old. That moment started a fire inside him that still burns today, 50+ years later. Vince has surfed all over the world, he has surfed in the Pipe Masters and was part of the original crew to have surfed Mavericks and has performed water rescue for the Mavericks Contests.

Vince has worked in large production shops, but he chose a different path: personal, hands-on quality work where nothing is rushed and nothing is compromised. When your board passes through multiple hands, consistency suffers. When Vince builds your board from start to finish, you get the quality that only comes from complete craftsmanship.

Even after four decades in the craft, Vince remains committed to continuous learning and improvement.

"I think any kind of professional should get out of a field once you think you know it all."

That philosophy, that there's always something new to discover, is what keeps his work fresh and his boards cutting-edge.

"When you're surfing, foiling, or kiting a wave, you're drawing lines and looking at different sections. That's what's fun about riding different boards - they make you draw different lines."

This understanding drives every custom board Vince shapes. Every surfer, foiler and kiter draws different lines. Your board should help you draw yours.
